Incapacity Planning

Along with your Will, your Powers of Attorney documents are two of the most important documents you will execute in your life.  There are two types: Power of Attorney for Personal Care and Power of Attorney for Property.  Respectively, these documents allow you to appoint an individual to make decisions for you with respect to your heath and your assets in the event that you should become incapable of making these decisions on your own.  Without these documents in place, your loved ones will be forced to incur the costs, time and effort to bring a court application to be appointed your Guardian, all of which may be avoided through the preparation of these documents.
